Full-grain leather from a 1 mm-thick, small calfskin. The tanning process, combined with extended soaking in the drum, gives it incomparable translucency and suppleness. Being vulnerable to scratches and sensitive to water however, it is important to treat it with great care and waterproof your shoes regularly. Overly abrasive resins and solvent-based products are to be avoided at all costs. Italian tannery.

Care

Clean with a dry or very slightly damp cloth. Ideally, use Heschung polish because too hard a wax or resin can alter the appearance of the grain. Apply the polish, leave for a while and then buff with a brush. NB : The ultra-natural finish of Softycalf gives it its characteristic translucency but also makes it fragile, particularly in lighter colours for which you should ideally use our nourishing balm (hydrating cream).
