Inspired by 1950s golf shoes, the Ilex Derby reinterprets a classic with character and authenticity. Featuring five eyelets and a generous last, it stands out for its hand-stitched apron and Goodyear welt construction — a guarantee of durability and comfort. Offered in black Anilcalf calf leather, it is set on an ultra-light rubber sole. To celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Heschung workshop, the model is adorned with a distinctly urban decorative strap — a subtle nod to our mountain heritage.

Anilcalf leather comes from selected hides from French calves fed on their mother's milk, known as free-raised calves. It is an aniline full-grain leather with an ultra-natural finish, which develops an attractive patina over time, though it remains vulnerable to scratches. French tannery (Alsace).

Care

Clean with a dry or very slightly damp cloth. Ideally, use Heschung polish because too hard a wax or resin can alter the appearance of the grain. Apply the polish, leave for a while and then buff with a brush. Use a polish preferably of the same colour as the shoe.
