The Catalpa derby is crafted from exceptional leathers, rigorously selected for their suppleness, resilience, and the richness of their patina over time.
Since 1934, in Alsace, we have worked closely with the Haas tannery. Rooted in the shared values of authenticity and durability, Suportlo leather, combined with the true Norwegian welt construction, gives our emblematic styles their distinctive character.
Tanned using an ancestral “double tanning” process, both mineral and vegetable, Suportlo leather is drum-dyed and then hot-stuffed, enhancing its robustness and water resistance.
